Thanks Larry, it was my fault. I forget to disable the marks.

  • Selection get "stucked"

Hi there! Quick question: if I cancel a selection or simply undoing something, all of the segments on active tracks get selected since a couple of hours on my project. This is quite annoying, and audio keyframes cannot be edited separately as well. Is this a bug? I tried to restart AMC, and it is only in one sequence, other sequences are working great

  • Re: Title masking with a shape

On the title, which is an imported image matte key, I applied the animatte, and then the spectramatte. In this, I could find a Crop option, which crops from the scene, but only from the track, where the matte is. This is a great solution for me, but there is still a question. How can I do this with a custom shape, or maybe another image color matte

  • Re: Title masking with a shape

I tried cropping, but I applied position parameters for rolling the title (it is handwritten image, not typed text), and so the crop is relative to the object, not the scene. BTW, crop can be used, if I can use it as an "absolute" crop, for example the top 200px of the scene. Can I do that in this case? EDIT: Now I tried to apply the 3D Warp

  • Title masking with a shape

Hi! Probably this will be an easy question. You may know the effect can be seen in many movies, when a wall, or a tree or something masks out the titling. I want to do this in AMC. I want to roll up the end credits, and make it disappear by a line (edge of a recangle for example). Of course the shape should be invisible. How can I do that? Can I use

  • Re: MC can't rebuild media from source files?

Big thank you! I do as you wrote, and it seems work! As an ex-Premiere user I forced the "Relink..." in the context-menu, and didn't try "Batch import".

Yes, you are right, I mean MXF files. I have only imported media files (mp3 sound and uncompressed avi). The solution I need is: just re-import the media, and change the old files to the new one. I can not find any way to do this. Thanks Larry! Unfortunately I have no option to reach the other computer's "Avid Media Files" folder. I only

  • MC can't rebuild media from source files?

Hi! I have a big problem. Because of a trip, for a while I had to work on another computer with MC. After that, I just copy the project folder and the source files back to my own computer. The program says OFFLINE MEDIA. It's true I don't have the MXF files, but I didn't thought they're neccessary. What can I do? I have all the source

  • Time warp like Time remapping (Adobe Premiere feature)

Hi! I've just recently started using AVID Media Composer 5. I used Adobe Premiere before, and the Avid's Time warp is working a little differently. If I make a clip shorter or longer with time warp or even trim to fill, the duration of the clip does not changes, and I have to edit the clip again. Premiere keeps the scene, and sets the duration
