• Film burn transition on AVID 7.0

Good day avid community! I'm looking to apply quite a few fim burn transitions and dissolves on an edit of mine on Avid Media Composer 7.0. Something similar to the luster film transitions - in the link below. http://www.digitalcinemafoundry.com/2011/05/22/premium-film-burnslight-leak-10-pack-2/...

  • Re: Question: How Can I Apply Same Transition to Multiple Clips (beyond quick transition)
Allows you to ADD your "custom" effects into the Quick Transition tool, after dragging your FX into a Bin called "Quick Transitions".. then you ought to be able to add your FX from In-to-Out.
Dennis The Quick Transition trick is probably the...

  • Re: Transitions between keyed footage
With Avid FX, it is quite easy to do. However, as I said in an earlier post, a lot depends on which applications and plug-ins one is familiar with. My Avid FX way can seem complicated to a person who likes to stay in the Avid AVX world, and vice versa.
I agree...

The trick is WHERE you put the Push effect(s). As mentioned, it is probably...

  • Video Effect for visibly changing aspect ratio?

Is there an effect that can change the aspect ratio of a clip from, say 4:3 to 2.35:1, in the middle of the clip? So that it would visibly happen in the middle of the clip? Essentially, I want to have black bars slide in from the top and bottom of the frame to change the aspect ratio mid-shot. What would...

  • How to transition into effect?

I'm working on a clip where I need to do a magic type transition. My client is a baker and the company's logo is a b/w woodcut looking image of a baker’s hat, spoon & whisk on a wood board. The set-up is video of the hat, spoon & whisk in the same position as the woodcut graphic...
