  • Still confused on good HDV workflow for a big project!!

I've read so many posts and am still having a hard time with what workflow I should set up for my project. • HDV 720p30 to HD export

In a month I will be shooting some stock footage using the JVC HD100 camera in 720p30 mode. The footage will need to be delivered in a "real" HD format, though. I am thinking DVC PRO HD would probably work but there might be others too. Can anyone suggest a good workflow for this? Thank you...

  • down convert HDV

I have been working with HDV but wondering recently if I should go back to DV. Due to Avid's encoding some essential features are not available with HDV such as playback to client monitor or digital cut to tape with deck control. The HDV videos also seem to be too large for the internet and lots...

  • HDV Question...

I'm sure this is a stupid question but: If I shoot a project using hdv @ 24FPS and then bring it in to Avid and capture the footage using the 1080i 59.94 project option: Will the footage remain at 24 FPS. Because The project options for 1080i is only 1080i/50 & 1080i/59.94. I want to retain the...

  • HD Cam and HDV with offline / online

Hi All, I'm working on a project that requires me to mix HDV and HD-Cam in the same timeline and use offline / online workflow. The tapes were shot 1080i and I believe 24p throughout. I intend to: 1) Create a 1080i / 59.94 project 2) Capture HDV downconverted to 30i / DV25 3) Capture HD Cam downconverted...

  • Re: Downconversion HDV a SD
