I'm an assistant editor at a commercial post-house in Toronto. 

We only use MP4 H264 files on our posting site. In the 2022 version of Avid, there's an MP4 export option. Whenever I export an MP4, it always drops the audio when I upload to our client site, or any other site for that matter. 

Does anyone have a fix for this? I export MOV out of Avid 2022 and then use encoder to create an MP4. 

Not a huge deal but, if this feature could work that would be sweet. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Some player / decoders do not support PCM in MP4 H.264 format. Switch it to AAC.
