Urgent! Whats a good motherboard these days?

Cant seem to isolate the issue with my Asus X99 rig so time to bite the bullet. Whats a good motherboard these days? Needs thunderbolt and a nice fast Intel CPU. I guess my days of 4 x HDD's in RAID 10 are over so a few slots for M2 PCIE 4 would be good. 2TB for £200 - faster and cheaper than HDD :-)

Intel z690 chipset + Raptor Lake.

Best mobos are usually the gaming kind like Asus ROG, Gigabyte Aorus, MSI MEG, etc.
