Hello there! I'm needing to check QT's coming from avid and tried downloading the Avid Codecs LE. However, it still does not work still and says Quicktime is unable to open file. Other methods like VLC or Avid work so I know it's not the file itself. Any downloads for Avid Codecs LE that should work? Maybe I'm installing incorrectly? I'm on Mac OS Catalina (10.15.6). Thanks!

Indeed I did. Version 2.7.1 was installed but didn't work and version 2.7.6 states there's no application to open it and that it can't be checked for malware. -Sam

Avid Codecs LE are codec components for Quicktime 7. QT7 is 32 bit thus not supported in Catalina.

You want Apple Video Formats instead.
