I know this is like a time warp, but does anybody remember if it is necessary to uninstall Xpress Pro 4.5.1 before installing the 4.6 upgrade? I just installed XP Pro Service Pack 2 so I now need to do the Avid upgrade. I downloaded the upgrade some time ago but never installed it due to still running SP 1.

I can't find anything about the uninstall/install question in the readme doc nor in the forums.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 It's always a good idea to uninstall first. Always has been.

Also, I meant to ask if there are any parts (patches, etc.) of SP2 that need to be removed to ensure  Xpress Pro 4.6 will be happy?
